We will be open every Thursday from 11 AM - 2 PM. Starting in the spring we will be throwing in some Saturdays as well.
The clothing closet is NO longer at the main church (Calvary Missionary Baptist). It has moved down the street beside the old church and across the street from the fellowship hall.
DIRECTIONS: If you are going toward Pennington you will pass the church, Huddle House, & the gas station. It will be the 1st road on your left hand side (Calvary Street). The building is on your right hand side, you can't miss it.
Background on Harmony's Hope Closet: Harmony Rogers was the person who brought this to life at Calvary Baptist. It literally started in a small closet at the church & now has it's own building. Harmony was so full of life and loved helping people. Someone summed it up perfectly when they said, "I just remember her saying how much she enjoyed helping others that needed clothes & being able to witness to them when they came in to pick up the clothes." We want to keep Harmony's vision alive & she would be so proud to know that her little closet has turned into a building.
